This was announced by the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Zulfi Bukhari. He said that the government has developed an online portal for the diaspora community of Pakistan returning back, having no means to make a living. He has asked the people affected to register themselves to the portal so that the government can find and arrange an appropriate job for them.
Daily wage workers will be prioritized as they would suffer the most after losing a foreign job. Already online registration has started and the Pakistani diaspora community is encouraged to register themselves at the portal.
“If someone has lost their employment overseas then they must ensure registration with the portal so that the government could help them in their hour of need.”
Furthermore, SAPM said that the citizens registered will also get certified training courses for different disciplines to create employment opportunities across Pakistan.
Also, registering with the portal will help the needy candidates receive financial assistance from the government until they find an income source.
