Honda Atlas, the leading Japanese automaker has launched Honda Civic 1.5 VTEC Turbo Oriel in Pakistan. The price of the car is PKR 4,249,000/-.
The booking of the car has begun and it is available on the spot by paying the sum. The engine of the vehicle is 1.5-liter VTEC that is mated to a CVT transmission that churns out 170 hp @ 5500 RPM and it produces 220 Nm @ 1700 RPM.
The car is equipped with 16-inches alloy wheels. Also, it will have a remote engine starter, and other features including dual airbags, Immobilizer, Power Door Locks, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Keyless Entry, Optional Navigation, Electric Parking Brake (EPB), Child Lock, Auto Brake Hold (ABH), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Security Alarm, etc.
By launching the new variant the company wants to increase sales and attract more customers. Earlier IMC also launched a new version of Fortuner, Fortuner G to attract more customers.
During the first half of the fiscal year 2019-20, Honda observed 107 non-production days (NPDs). But the company made the announcement that during January 2020, it will not shut down its plant for even a single day. In July-December 2019 period the overall sales of HACPL dropped by 66.44%.
The company only sold 6919 units of Civic and City combined in comparison to 21,784 units in the same period last year.
