Honda Atlas Car prices have been increased from Rs50,000 to Rs100,000. The new prices are effective from October 22nd. From January 2019, the prices will further increase by up to Rs210,000.
From October 22nd the prices of the Civic variant will be increased by Rs100,000. Then they will be further increased in January to Rs210,000.
From October the prices of City variants will be increased by Rs 60000. Then from January, they will be further increased to Rs125,000.
From October the prices of BR-V will be increased by Rs 50,000. Then from January, the price of BR-V will be increased to Rs100,000.
Quite recently Toyota IMC also increased its car prices for November and December deliveries from Rs50,000 to Rs175,000. For January 2019 the prices have increased from Rs100,000 to Rs350,000.
The prices have been increased due to the devaluation of rupee against the dollar. But according to the analyst due to the price hike, the car sales will increase because customers will like to purchase cars earlier before the price increases further.
Research Analyst Farheen Irfan said, “Auto companies are trying to pass on the impact of rupee devaluation, but the increasing car prices will hurt demand significantly.”
