Coronavirus cases are increasing alarmingly in the city therefore all the salons and spas present in Karachi have been closed to avoid the spread of the virus.
The home department has ordered to shut down all salons and spas, said the South Deputy Commissioner of the city.
He further added that the salons put all the people into risks of contracting and spreading the virus. On Saturday, many salons were sealed including Nabila’s Salon located in Clifton and Defence by the Civil Lines assistant.
Sindh has 51,000 coronavirus cases in total with 816 deaths up till now out of which most of the cases have been reported from Karachi.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Karachi on 16th June in order to discuss the current situation of coronavirus in the city with Murad Ali Shah Chief Minister Sindh.
On the other hand, due to the increase in the coronavirus cases, the lockdown has been imposed in Sindh’s Khairpur by the Deputy Commissioner and many of the areas of Khairpur have been sealed.
The lockdown became effective from Friday 12th June in Taluka Khairpur, Gambat, and Sobhodero.
