Holi to Pakistan

The Pakistan Hindu Council has made the announcement that it is dedicating this Holi to Pakistan. The festival of Holi is being celebrated today that is Wednesday according to the Hindu Lunar calendar.

The Hindu Council Pakistan in relation with Holi and Pakistan Day would conduct a colorful mega event on Wednesday at the Shri Panchumukhi Hanuman Temple in the Soldier Bazaar of Karachi. The event would start at 6:30 pm and would end at 10:30 pm.

As per a press release which was issued on the 10th of March, a large number of Pakistani Hindu families would be holding the national flags for showing their love and respect for Pakistan.

Dr. Ramesh Kumar—the Patron-in-Chief of the Pakistan Hindu Council said that the Pakistani Hindu community has taken the decision of celebrating this Holi in a different style.

He said that this year’s Holi festival would be acknowledging the noble achievements of Quaid-e-Azam and elders who arranged the historic Jalsa in Lahore on the 23rd of March 1940 for passing the Pakistan Resolution.

He asked everyone to take part actively in the Holi celebrations and emphasized that their presence would deliver a positive message for showing unity with the non-Muslim minorities, promoting the interfaith unity, for strengthening the patriotism and for representing the diverse society of Pakistan as per the vision of Quaid-e-Azam.

The Pakistan Hindi Council has also passed a unified resolution against the aggression of India and has promised to give support to the Pakistan Army in the country’s defense.

The Prime Minister—Imran Khan also extended his wishes to the Hindu community on their joyous festival.
