A long-awaited demand of the Sikh community has been fulfilled by the PTI-government of Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan is inaugurating the extended Gurdwara Darbar Sahib and the Kartarpur Corridor.
This 4.5 km-long corridor connects the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Indian Punjab’s Gurdaspur with Darbar Sahib in Kartarpur that located in Narowal district of Pakistan.

Today, Indian Sikhs in large numbers will perform the historic pilgrimage. They will be able to travel visa-free to one of their religion’s holiest sites under a landmark deal between the two countries.
