HBL PSL5 is likely to start from the 20th of February next year.
The fifth edition of the Habib Bank Limited Pakistan Super League is likely to begin from the 20th of February in Pakistan. The league would be played during the span of 20th February to 22nd March 2020.
The final match of the fifth edition is anticipated to be held in Lahore.
As per sources, the draft of the HBL PSL5 is presently being formulated for the second or third week of November 2019.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already given information to all the franchises that the complete season five of HBL PSL would occur in Pakistan.
It is also being notified to the foreign players that only those cricketers would be made a part of the draft who agrees on playing in Pakistan.
As per details, Lahore is anticipated to host 11 matches while Karachi would be hosting nine of the matches. Multan and Rawalpindi are also to get 4 and 8 matches respectively.
National Stadium in Karachi is expected to host the matches of Karachi Kings, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators in the initial stages.
On the other hand, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United, and Lahore Qalandars are also expected to play their matches at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Azad Kashmir and Peshawar are also in consideration for hosting a match each. The board officials are soon anticipated to visit both the locations and submit its report to the administration of HBL PSL.
