Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaiser intends to reform the agricultural land of Swabi and help the farmers. He told that half of PKR 170 million is planned to be spent on this.
He told that preparing barren for farming will flourish cultivation of olives, flowers, and other crops which will boost trade and help in the earning of local farmers.
He assured that a special committee on Agriculture will take all possible measures to protect the rights of farmers and formulate a policy for their welfare.
He informed that the government is also working to improve research in the agriculture sector as it is the backbone of the country’s economy.
Speaker National Assembly was speaking at a seminar held at Fatima Fertilizer Limited on the improvement of wheat seeds and to enhance productivity.
It is also reported that Asad Qaiser after the seminar also inaugurated an open-air gymnasium at Yasir Shah Cricket Academy, Shah Mansoor Sports stadium in the Swabi District.
