An increase of more than Rs100,000 has been suggested by the Ministry of Religious in the new Hajj policy 2019. The increase would be effected after the approval by the federal cabinet.
According to the details, the officials of the Religious Ministry are expected to brief the federal cabinet regarding the new Hajj policy 2019 as well as to justify the price increase.

According to the new Hajj policy 2019, which is yet to be approved, the Hajj expenses, excluding subsidy, for each pilgrim from the north would be Rs436,000 and for pilgrim from the south would be Rs426,000.
The Ministry has also proposed a subsidy of Rs45,000 for each pilgrim in this regard.
After the approval of subsidy by the federal cabinet, the expenses for each pilgrim would be settled around Rs390,000.
According to the details, as many as 184,210 pilgrims from Pakistani will perform Hajj, including 107,000 under the scheme announced by the government of Pakistan and more than 76,000 pilgrims under the private scheme.
