The balloting of the Hajj applications under the government scheme would be conducted on the 12th of March that is Tuesday as per the reports of Radio Pakistan on Sunday.
According to a spokesperson of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, the balloting was postponed as the Banks requested for it.
He added that the Minister for Religious Affairs—Noor ul Haq Qadri would be performing the balloting.
The spokesperson said that 216,542 intending pilgrims have submitted their applications for Hajj this year.
All banks have been instructed to complete online entry at the earliest and to assure accuracy in updating records of the pilgrims who have remained unsuccessful in the last 3 years, the spokesperson said.

The banks have been told to clear the cheques and drafts of the Hajj pilgrims.
The deadline for the submission of Hajj applications under the government scheme ended yesterday after an extension was given until the 9th of March while the process was resumed again on the 25th of February.
As many as 2lac people from Pakistan would be performing Hajj this year, out of which 60percent would be performing under the government scheme, while the remaining would perform under the private scheme.
On the 21st of February, Shah Mehmood Qureshi—the foreign minister had given confirmation that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has increased the Hajj quota for Pakistan to 200,000 and has also agreed to provide e-visa service to the Pakistani pilgrims on the suggestions of Pakistan.
