Hajj 2020 balloting under the government scheme would be held tomorrow at 4:00 pm in the federal capital, as per the reports of local media.
As per the shared details, the federal minister for Religious Affairs Noor ul Haq Qadri would be performing the balloting, while all the preparations have been finalized in this regard.
The balloting results would be uploaded on the website of the religious affairs ministry.
The ministry has asked the applicants to check their details on the website and get them corrected in case of any mistakes. The intending pilgrims have been told to contact on the following numbers in case of needing any guidance and information:
As per the Hajj policy 2020, initially, 179,210 Pakistanis were to perform the holy religious duty, which includes 107,526 under the government Hajj scheme and 71,684 via the Hajj Group Organisers (HGOs).
It is pertinent to mention that a total of 1,49,330 Hajj applications were received from the intending pilgrims by t designated banks across the nation under the government scheme.
This year, 179,210 pilgrims from Pakistan would be performing the holy ceremony.
