GreenLine Construction in Karachi resumes after 3 Months


Construction on the Karachi’s Green Line project resumes after a gap of three months.

The project funded by the Federal government started in 2016 when Nawaz Sharif was the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Still the project is incomplete.

One track starting from Numaish Chowrangi to Capri Cinema is completely closed as the track is under construction. Officials say that hopefully, it will reopen by the end of June.

The Residents living in the area believe that the work won’t even complete by June 2021. One of the residents said that this construction is bothering us a lot today and he believes that it will continue to bother their children also.

He further added that the slow work on the site is creating a lot of problems for travelers. Firstly it is terrible for their cars and is also causing multiple delays.

Currently, the Green Line BRT project is under construction and it will take a few more months to complete.    

Recently, news came out that the state officials of California have allowed the films and TV productions to resume their work from the 12th of June amid coronavirus.
