Grab—the Singapore ride-hailing service is coming to Pakistan through a tie-up with Careem.

Exactly like Careem Wallet, the users would be able to pay for the Grab rides using the GrabPay credits and also earn GrabRewards points, possibly for future concessions on the rides.
The application would have a variety of languages for providing ease to the users.
The list of cities covered by Grab would initially be including Lahore, Peshawar, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, Mardan, Sukkur, Multan, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Abbottabad, Mardan, Karachi and Islamabad. more cities would also be added over time.
Grab would also be bringing in the Customer Experience team on board where the users would be able to access the local emergency services via the Grab app.
This expansion has come as a result of the partnership of Grab with Splyt, which is a London based mobility marketplace that connects the supply and demand for terrestrial transport. This alliance would be bringing Splyt’s network of mobility partners to Grab app that would allow users to book rides throughout the 8 nations via the Grab app.
The cab service would roll out to Pakistan and other countries in 2020, as per sources.
