On Sunday, PM Khan’s Special Assistant said that the federal government has finalized a plan for offering the overseas Pakistanis digital banking facilities.
Zulfi Bukhari, the PM’s Special Assistant for the overseas Pakistanis said that his team has finalized the Roshan Digital Accounts project. He further added that the project is aimed at assisting the overseas Pakistanis to invest in the country.
Under the new venture, the Pakistanis living abroad would be able to open up the local and foreign currency accounts without the need to personally visit the country. They would just be required to submit their basic information and documents to the State Bank of Pakistan online.
The project was drafted and designed on the request of the overseas Pakistanis as informed by Zulfi Bukhari.
On the other hand, as per the latest development, the wedding halls in Karachi have resumed their booking activities after the lockdown has ended.
The wedding halls owners are happy with the government’s decision of lifting the lockdown that was imposed back in the month of March when the coronavirus cases started rising in the country.
One wedding hall manager said that they would strictly follow the SOPs provided by the government.
