Govt. to Introduce Education Awareness Campaign Soon

Dr. Sania Nishtar—the Special Assistant to PM on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division (PASSD) said that an education awareness campaign would soon be introduced in remote areas for prioritizing the public about their right to education.

She said that the education awareness campaign would be focusing on boosting and incentivising the families for sending their girls to schools.

She further added that the government was spending resources both for improving the quality and the quantity of education.

She also said that improved quality of education could lead to better human capital development.

Previously on the 21st of November, Sania Nishtar made the announcement that Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division would be partnering with Facebook for tackling the issue of malnutrition in Pakistan.

Ehsaas is bringing together the brightest talent in the digital marketing and technology for handling the issue of malnutrition throughout the nation and to improve the lives of millions.

She mentioned that Ehsaas would be hosting first of its kind Design Hackathon on the issue of malnutrition at the National Incubation Centre, Islamabad on the 14th and 15th of December.

The Design Hackathon would be linking the professionals and experts in malnutrition with the digital marketers who with the additional assistance from Facebook, would help in building the Innovative digital campaigns around the specific challenges of malnutrition.
