Govt to impose a uniformed syllabus for all private and government school in March

Shafqat Mahmood—the Minister for Education and Professional Training said that a uniformed curriculum would be applicable from the first to fifth standard in all schools across the country till March of the upcoming year.

While talking to a news channel, the education minister said that the National Curriculum Council has been set up to develop a consensus among the stakeholders for the uniform standards of the education across Pakistan.

During an interview, he said that a uniformed standard syllabus would be imposed in all schools including private and government schools to provide quality education to the students throughout the country.

“No compromise will be made on the standard of education and curriculum would be crafted keeping in view the international standards”, the minister added.
