Govt to Establish Dharabi Lake as a Tourist-Spot

Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has decided to establish Dharabi Lake in District Chakwal as a tourist spot. While the CM Punjab was traveling from Islamabad to Lahore on a helicopter, he made a surprise inspection of Dharabi Lake.

He inspected the work being done to promote tourism in the place. The CM said that the lake will be developed as a tourist spot, and also a rest-house will be established along with link roads.

Buzdar said, “I have laid the foundation stone of project meant for developing a resort in Dharabi Lake along with the construction of link roads and an amount of Rs.8 crore has been allocated for this project.”

Furthermore, he said that the hatchery sector will be developed. And water sports activities will be promoted in the lake.

It is hoped by Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar that tourism will be boosted along with the opening of financial opportunities. He hoped that this will lead to the expansion of economic opportunities in the area and developed road networks.

Pakistan is a naturally beautiful and diverse country. It is high time that our government, institutions, and individuals make use of its beauty and boost tourism in the country.
