The government has taken the decision to offer employment to all the overseas Pakistanis who lost their jobs owing to the coronavirus pandemic, as informed by the PM”s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis Sayed Zulfi Bukhari.
A special portal has been formulated for offering jobs to the people who return to Pakistan from abroad. The registration work on the website has commenced.
Bukhari took it to Twitter and posted that the advantages of the website include re-employment, financial assistance, and certified training from the government by the applicants.
The development has been made after thousands of Pakistanis working abroad came back to the country owing to coronavirus. The assistant said that during this time of need the government would stand with these people and assist them.
Previously, the government also restarted some of its international flight operations to the nation.
On the other hand, the government of Punjab has banned the sale of dexamethasone drug across the province without prescription. This drug has been referred to as a major breakthrough for the treatment of COVID-19.
