Fawad Chaudhry—the Information Minister has said that the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is bringing a framework for controlling the web TV, social media and other media.
While conversing at an event regarding the importance of digital media on Wednesday, Fawad Chaudhry also gave an invitation to the social networking giant—Facebook for opening its office in Pakistan to get advertisement business.
He informed that Pakistan has allotted one thirds of the government advertisements to digital media, as per the reports of Radio Pakistan.

The minister informed that advertisements that costs Rs7 billion are generated in Pakistan, he also added that the platforms for advertisements are shrinking from formal media to digital media.
He said that there is crisis in the media industry, but it is related with technology as the media houses are way behind in making use of the modern technology.
The minister asked the media industry to start research for knowing the effects of digital media on the formal media.
Recently, a Pakistani artist who drew a calligraphic portrait of Imran Khan the Prime Minister of Pakistan by writing the lyrics of Pakistan’s national anthem in a way that after completion it resembled with the PM finally got a chance to meet with him.
She flew all the way from Doha, Qatar to Pakistan for meeting with the Prime Minister.
