In a bid to control the spread of deadly coronavirus government has decided to suspended all types of flight including domestic and chartered flights in the country from March 26 to April 2.
According to the spokesperson of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), all domestic chartered and private flights will be suspended; however, cargo and flights with special permission letters are exempted from the ban.
Earlier, the government of Pakistan suspended international flight operations for two weeks to stop the spread of the virus.
In another article, we informed our readers that the government has decided to suspend all passenger train services all across Pakistan from 25th March 2020 to 31st March 2020. This step has been taken to control the spread of coronavirus.
Also, the Ministry of Railways issued a notification in which it said that those passengers who had advance bookings on suspended trains will be accommodated in other trains as per their choice on a priority basis once train service resumes in the country. If they decide not to avail the ticket, a full refund will be done after train operations are resumed.
