The federal government has asked the provincial authorities to devise proposals to resume the academic activities amid the coronavirus pandemic, as per the reports of local media.
The Education Ministry has asked for proposals to reopen the educational institutes on a trial basis in the country. A conference would be conducted of the education ministers between the provinces to formulate some strategy to resume the educational activities.
The education ministry gave directives to all the provinces to put forward their recommendations by the 23rd of June. They are needed to propose measures about how to protect students and teachers from COVID-19.

After the suggested conference, the Ministry of Education would then forward its suggestions to the NCC for taking the final verdict regarding the resumption of the educational activities in the country.
Previously on the 18th of June PM Khan ordered that distance education and easy access to all the resources for acquiring education should be ensured and all the available options should be utilized for the need.
On the other hand, the federal board has announced the dates for the results of matriculation and intermediate examinations.
