Govt Schools In Sindh To Promote Students From 1 to 8 Grade Without Exams

The authorities of the Sindh Education Department on Monday have announced to promote all the students in the next grade without exams.

As per the details, the authorities took this decision due to the prolonged closures of the educational institutes across the province amid the coronavirus scare in Pakistan.

The Sindh Education Department, in a statement, said that all students from 1st to 8th grade will be promoted to the next grade with the examinations.

The PPP-leg provincial government of Sindh has made changes in the academic calendar after the provincial cabinet announced to extend vacations in all educational institutions across the province till May 31.

It is worth mentioning here that all the educational institutes across the country have been closed to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus in Pakistan as the number of coronavirus cases in the country is increasing on a daily basis.

At least 41 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed across Sindh on Monday morning. The total number of infected people in Pakistan has been reached 94.

On the other hand, the Balochistan government announced to take disciplinary action against the doctors who are refusing to perform quarantine duty.
