The federal cabinet has approved to revoke the licenses of 16 more pilots. According to details, in the case of fake pilots’ licenses, the federal cabinet has approved the revocation of licenses of 16 more pilots. The licenses of six more pilots were also ordered to be revoked on a restraining order.
The Aviation Division had on July 7 sent a summary to the Cabinet on the fake licenses of 22 pilots. Earlier, the Aviation Division had canceled the licenses of 28 pilots.
The aviation division had mentioned suspicious licenses of 193 pilots in the summary, after which the licenses of 22 pilots were canceled after a final investigation. Secretary Aviation Hassan Nasir Jami also issued the notification.
Meanwhile, aviation sources said that investigations into the suspicious licenses of pilots have been completed, out of 262 pilots, licenses of 180 pilots have been declared clear, only 82 pilots’ licenses have been found to be forged.
According to sources, in the computer test of licenses of 50 pilots, forgery was detected while ATPL licenses of 32 pilots turned out to be fake. Licenses of 28 pilots were earlier revoked on fake licenses. Aviation sources said that action has been initiated against 22 pilots after the approval of the cabinet. Out of 141 pilots of PIA, licenses of 18 pilots have turned out to be fake.
