The government has got the plans to outsource the Airport Services’ division.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has officially approved to separate the Civil Aviation Authority—CAA into further divisions that would outsource the services’ division of the airport.
The Prime Minister in a high-level session regarding Civil Aviation Authority talked about bringing in some major reforms in the aviation sector.

According to the new plan, the regulatory division would remain under the authority of the CAA authorities, whereas, the services’ division of the airport would be outsourced by the government.
The premier asked for adopting transparent procedures for outsourcing the airport services’ division other than instructing to register it under the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan—SECP.
The Pakistanis residing abroad would be given benfit by handling both the divisions separately and the move would boost tourism sector of the nation. Major airports would be equipped with facilities in accordance with the international standards for enlisting them in the significant airports of the world.
