Aijaz Shah, the federal interior minister has given orders to install the CCTV cameras in all the police stations.
An instruction was given to all the provincial police heads regarding this. This decision took place so that the torturous culture and the abuse done in the police station could be discouraged. Also this proposal is expected to guarantee the transparency in the future investigations.
To make this plan work, digital control rooms would be built in all the police stations for a perfect monitoring.

Today a departmental meeting was held in which Aijaz Shah, the interior minister took several important decisions in order to improve the policing system in our country which included the introduction of a Safe City Project in Baluchistan in coordination with the provincial government.
Apart from this, the government is planning on reopening the Chaman border as it was decided that after some essential measures would be taken the Afghan border would get opened within 3 months.
