Dr Zafar Mirza, the special assistant to the PM on Health has launched the Sehat Tahaffuz helpline “1166”. The app was launched at a ceremony in the federal capital for providing health-related information services to the people.
As per the details, via the helpline, people would be able to get immediate help to their relative requests and concerns regarding polio and the routine immunization services.
The helpline would also be providing information and would address the problems of the parents and the caregivers about the vaccine. The helpline would be operational from eight in the morning to twelve until midnight daily.

There is a firm commitment both at the national and international level for eradicating polio. It is a joint responsibility of ensuring that all the children are protected, and the vaccination is just the best protection against the poliovirus.
