Govt Launches First Online Financial Literary Course

It has been announced by the National Financial Literacy Program for Youth (NFLP-Y) to introduce the first online financial literacy course of Pakistan. It is delivered via an engaging and interactive game called ‘POMPAK – Learn to Earn’.

National Financial Literacy Program For Youth tweeted, “National Financial Literacy Program for Youth (NFLP-Y) is proud to announce the launch of Pakistan’s first online financial literacy course which is delivered through an engaging and interactive game. The game is called ‘POMPAK – Learn to Earn’.”

As per the details available, PomPak will deliver its lectures both in English and Urdu via a story-based format. This is designed to help people understand and apply principles of financial literacy.

There is a story of two entrepreneurial families as they face personal, financial, and business decisions. You are a player who has to ensure that the families are able to create a successful business. Users in just a few hours would be able to master the importance of saving, budgeting, borrowing, and banking, among other things.

When users are able to complete all the modules in the game, the State Bank of Pakistan will give them a certificate of financial literacy.

Basically this National Financial Literacy Program for Youth (NFLP-Y) launched by NIBAF will give essential financial education to Pakistani youth. It will strengthen their money management skills and improve their understanding of financial matters.
