Govt launches ‘Baytee’ App to Empower Women

The government has launched the ‘Baytee’ mobile app to empower Pakistani women. The aim of the app is to empower the women of Pakistan using technology.

Ministry of IT’s senior officials revealed in the meeting that under the program a mobile app has been developed. It will be a centralized information hub that will have all the important information regarding women.

Women will be able to find advocacy program on women rights, receive news regarding laws and regulations of women rights, inquire about scholarships for women, find jobs & training opportunities nearby, go for health services in their respective area and get information about the nearest women hostels and police stations using the Baytee app.

The Baytee app will provide information to women about all the public and private sector women empowerment projects. Also, a helpline will be dedicated to women under the project. This project was lauded by Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, who issued ordered for its expedition.
