The government has set a new benchmark with the latest introduction of the VVIP toilets.
It has been reported by local media, that biometric recognition machines have been installed outside the bathrooms of the Ministry of Industries and Production for the top-ranking officials in the capital city.
This step is way in contrast with the claims made by the present government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf of putting an end to the VIP culture.
As per sources, the VVIP bathrooms could be only used by an additional secretary or an officer who is above the rank.

As per the details provided by the sources, the VVIP washroom could also be used by the personnel of other ministries serving on the same rank.
This measure has been taken for the convenience of the officials if they attend meetings at the Ministry of Industries and Production, as per insiders.
In the meantime, the bathrooms for other staffers at the ministry lack even the items of basic need like soaps and other basic toiletries.
