ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Omar has said that working hours on all businesses are being lifted and markets and bazaars will remain closed one day a week. According to the details, Federal Minister Asad Umar while talking to media said that SOPs are being prepared on the occasion of Independence Day August 14. Significant improvement has been seen with regards to Coronavirus, he added.
The minister said that the second wave of epidemic is going on in Iran, the number of victims of the new coronary heart disease in Iran is more than before. He said that educational institutions would be opened from September 15, the final review would be done on September 7, there are some important decisions that have been taken to improve the economic situation of Pakistan, restaurants, and hotels would be allowed to open under SOPs.
Asad Omar said that restaurants, hotels, cinemas, theaters, public parks and museums will also be opened from August 10. The Federal Minister said that the ban on physical sports including kabaddi and wrestling would remain in force. He said that sports other than physical interactions were being allowed and sports would be allowed without spectators as it is happening around the world.
He said that trains and airplanes are being allowed to reach all the stations and till September 30, train travel and air travel will remain the same. NCC has decided to open wedding halls from September 15, beauty parlors have also been allowed to open from August 10, shrines, and dargahs are being opened as well, the permission of local administration will be required for congregations (Urs), he added. He said that pillion riding has also been allowed, public transport is also going to be opened, final review of the opening of schools will be done on September 7, the transport sector is now fully restored, said the minister.
