The government has asked for the immediate appointment of the regular CEOs, HODs, and MDs in ministries.
The government has barred the temporary charges and responsibilities for the current top officials, as per a new notification that was issued by the Establishment Division on Thursday.
The report captioned— “Existing vacancies of CEOs/MDs in Ministries/Division and their Attached Departments” of the Establishment Division mentions that the apex government officials which includes the Managing Directors, Chief Executive Officers, and Head of the Departments were not to be given extra temporary jobs and responsibilities besides their existing ones based on the vacant positions in the permanent top bureaucracy and civil service.
The notification has been issued to all the divisions, ministries, state departments, and subsidiaries. The notification advised for the immediate appointment of the regular CEOs, MDs, and HODs in all the departments or institutions.
The notification was issued after a Cabinet meeting on the 17th of September ordered for the immediate imposition of the new orders.
