Govt. Announces Fewer Working Hours for September 6

The federal government has taken the decision and announced fewer working hours for September 6 that is Friday to observe Defence Day as well as Kashmir Solidarity Day.

The Interior Ministry has issued a notification on the matter on late Wednesday.

The notification read that all the offices across the nation would be closed at 3:00 pm for celebrating the Defence Day of Pakistan, for observing solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren and for visiting the families of the martyrs.

The 54th Defence Day would be celebrated with the national spirit on the 6th of September that is Friday.

On Tuesday in a Twitter post, the DG ISPR—General Asif Ghafoor said that like the former year, let us reach out to the families of the martyrs. He also wrote that every Shaheed is remembered.
