Government to Create a Health City in Faisalabad


On Saturday, Fawad Chaudhry Federal Minister for Science and Technology said that PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf) has decided to launch a health city in the next few years in Faisalabad.

On twitter, the PTI Minister wrote that almost twenty acres of land has been attained in order to create a Health city and also an industry of medical equipment in Faisalabad.

Moreover, the tweet read that along with the establishment of a health city in Faisalabad, Science and Technology special economic zones will be launched in Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad.

The minister further added that special incentives will be provided for the business and technology industry in these zones.

As per the minister, the main aim is to make Pakistan a superpower in the technology sector within ten years.

Recently, the science and technology ministry made Pakistan-made products in these crucial times when the country was facing a shortage of face masks and sanitizers or they were being sold at high prices, says Fawad Chaudhry.

The PTI minister tweeted that now when the country is producing items locally, the government is now exporting most of the medical equipment and surgical masks.
