It has been reported that the provincial government of Balochistan has reopened the public transport across the province after a lengthy closure due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
The government of Balochistan led by the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Sunday formally announced the resumption of public transportation across the province.

After the resumption of public transport, it has been observed that the passengers as well as the transporters are violating the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the government to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
As per the details, no social distancing neither scanning of the passengers is being done by the concerned authorities.
Inter provincial and inter-district transport has been allowed to commute under strict adherence of standard operating procedures (SOPs) formed by the provincial government of Balochistan.
According to an official notification released on Sunday, binds coaches being used for transportation to ensure that each passenger seated inside the vehicle has the seat adjacent to them, empty.
The notification further stated that the presence of the hand sanitizers must be ensured inside the buses and coaches. “All passengers must be checked for fever before boarding the coaches,” the notification reads.
