A new web portal has been launched in order to help people with queries regarding the coronavirus. The portal is named as “Coronavirus Telemedicine Web Portal”.
As per the Punjab Government’s decision, the suspected coronavirus patients can conduct the tests at their homes instead of going to the hospital.
This decision is taken at such a time when the country is struggling with the outbreak of this virus which has so far killed 2 people and infected 301 people all around the country.
Coronavirus telemedicine and helpline is going live in Lahore today, says Chaudhry Sarwar Governor Punjab.
In order to provide guidance to the citizens more than sixty doctors have volunteered to work on the helpline service.
The Governor of Punjab requests people not to panic and maintain social distance for some time as it is the only way which is effective to stop this pandemic virus from spreading.
To maintain social isolation and to control the disease, the Punjab government has banned all public gatherings, shut down schools and forbade all business activities after 10 pm.
