Government Making An Effort To Bring PayPal In Pakistan

Pakistani government is determined to bring PayPal and similar payment procedures to Pakistan as per Mr Khurram Dastgir Khan, Commerce Minister.

Government wants to bring online transaction system in Pakistan and digitalize the economy. They are convincing PayPal to start operating in the country. The commerce Minister talked about it in Sialkot as he addressed a community at Pakistan Sports Goods Manufacturers and Exporters Association.

He further said that the government is hopeful that PayPal would start its services in Pakistan very soon. Also he confirmed that the essential legislation procedure has already started under the administration of State Bank of Pakistan.

Mr Khurram Dastgir Khan also highlighted that the government has already brought technology giant of China, Alibaba in Pakistan, which was a huge achievement so there is hope that this time PayPal would be introduced in Pakistan as well.

Moreover, the Minister complimented the government’s effort to boost economy of the country. He said that trade and export policies have been introduced by the present government which has enhanced the economic system of the country.

We discussed in an article earlier that what PayPal can do if it starts operating in Pakistan. PayPal is the easiest and the most secure system for inflow and outflow of money. Just through an email id or phone number you can send and receive payments. Even if you are cheated while doing a transaction your payment is refunded immediately. If this electronic system is introduced in Pakistan it would be an ease for the people.
