The federal government has made a decision against opening hotels and guest houses before Eid-ul-Azha.
This statement was released by Zulfi Bukhari Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development while speaking to a delegation of All Pakistan Guest Houses and Tourism Association in Islamabad.
According to Zulfi Bukhari, the decision to open hotel and guest rooms will be finalized after consulting with the province.
Although, the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) have been finalized the decision to reopen hotels and guest rooms will be taken after Eid and also after reviewing the COVID-19 situation in the country.
Bukhari also assured the delegation that they will consult the State Bank of Pakistan for the interest-free loans.
Recently on the 13th of July, Zulfi Bukhari made an announcement that this time the World Tourism Forum 2021 will take place in Pakistan.
The confirmation of this development was done by him in an ARY News program Bakhabar Savera.
Prime Minister’s special assistant also said that thousand foreign visitors will come to attend the five days event which is going to be held in 2021 in Pakistan. He further added that three days will be for a conference and the remaining two days will for tourism in the World Tourism Forum.
