The federal government has made the announcement regarding the office timings during the Holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan is set to being in the first week of May.
A notification was issued by the Prime Minister’s House stating that all the government offices that are working five days a week will have changed timings for Ramadan.
Monday to Thursday timings will be from 9 am to 3.30pm. Friday timings will be from 9 am to 1 pm.
The offices that work six days the office timings will be 9 am to 2 pm for five days and from 9 am to 1 pm for Friday.
It has been predicted by the Pakistan Meteorological Department that the Ramadan moon will be sighted on 5th May. Also, the prediction is that on that day the weather in most parts of Pakistan will be cloudy.
Met Department’s Climate Data Processing Centre gave a different prediction and said that the scientific statistics show that the moon will be visible on 6th May and not 5th May.
