Google Search Containing ‘Iran’ Surges To Millions in Few Hours

Google search has been overwhelmed with the word “Iran” or Iran related words over the past few hours, according to Google’s real-time search trends Iran is on the top after the US has killed Iran’s top general Qassim Suleimani in an airstrike at Baghdad airport.

There have been millions of searches recorded by Google since Thursday evening when US airstrike hit Iranian general. The searches on Social media including Facebook and Twitter make it even doubling the numbers.

The news has created angst among the masses around the globe from East to West and from North to South. The social media including Twitter also has been blasted with worldwide trends containing the hashtags #Iran #Suleimani #WWIII.

The vast majority of People on social media have condemned the US act and feared that it could spark the bigger war which is not in the interest of anyone on the earth. Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has condemned the act harshly and said Iran will retaliate with full force. The statement by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has created panic among other countries as well, Iran has a history of conflict with the US which was mostly based on “Mere Statements” earlier but the practical decisions are now putting the region into the pointy end of the spear.
