The price of 24-karat gold has been increased by Rs.600 on Tuesday that is Yesterday. It was traded at Rs.72,100 per tola in comparison to the last closing price of Rs.71,500.
As per the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram gold has experienced a surge of Rs.514 and was traded at Rs.61,814.
The price of silver has remained the same and was traded at Rs.870 per tola and Rs.745.88 per 10-gram silver.
As per the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Sarafa Association, the per tola price of 24-karat gold in the cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi has surged by Rs.700 and was traded at Rs.70,500 and that of 10-gram gold surged by Rs.600 and was traded at the cost of Rs.60,440 in comparison to the last closing rate of Rs.59,840.

In the international market, the price of per ounce gold surged by $1 and was traded at the rate of $1,276 in comparison to the last closing rate of $1,275.
On the other hand, the government has got the plans of placing a ban on the use of plastic bags in the federal capital from August 14.
Plastic bags are harmful to the environment, it is crucial to control their use. Keeping the dangers these plastic bags possess government is taking measures to put an end to their use.
