If you are confused about how to get your mobile phone registered, pay a visit to the nearest branch of your mobile operator and get it registered in just Rs.100.
The service has been launched by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority for facilitating the consumers who are willing to get their mobile devices registered, as per a press release issued by the regulatory authority on Wednesday.
The service would be available at all the franchises or the customer service centres of the mobile networks throughout Pakistan.

This way, the mobile phone users would not be required to travel to the offices of PTA located in only a few of the main cities.
As per the issued statement, PTA would only be entertaining the walk-ins for the mobile device registration at its headquarters in the federal capital and zonal offices until Friday, the 20th of September.
For finding out more regarding the service centre present in close proximity to one’s house that whether it is offering the service or not, one could visit the website.
Mobile phones could be registered by dialling *8484# or just by visiting the website of PTA.
All the IMEIs of a dual SIM mobile phone must be registered, as per the recent announcement of the regulatory authority.
