After, the government of Sindh, the province of GB has also taken the decision of imposing a lockdown in the province from tonight amid coronavirus outbreak.
While addressing a press conference in Chitral on Sunday, the GB Law Minister Aurangzeb Khan said that the province would be locked down from midnight today for an indefinite span.
He also said that this would be called home lockdown and the police and rangers would continuously patrolling the streets.
Pakistan on Sunday closed all the markets and the public places in the many major cities of the nation amid the epidemic of coronavirus. The number of COVID-19 cases has surged to 687 in the country.

As per the governments of KP, Balochistan, and Punjab, the public has been advised to remain at their homes and to avoid any kind of social gatherings.
As per a statement by the government of KP, keeping in view the advice of the experts on social distancing being a primary precautionary method and to avoid public contact, all the shopping malls, markets and restaurants shall remain closed from Sunday morning until Tuesday morning.
The government of KP has also declared an emergency and has suspended all the inter-district public transport for 7 days starting from Monday.
