The most popular TV series of HBO Game of Thrones Finale season is not coming until early 2019, HBO has confirmed, the company said it plans to start production on a prequel in 2019.
HBO’s president of programming Casey Bloys, however, denied providing any specific details about the finale season of Game of Thrones including a more specific premiere date. One of the most Emmy Award-winning series which is still waiting to win more awards at the end of finale season is the HBO’s most popular series to date having 30 million viewers in the United States and huge fan base around the world.
America’s popular telecom company AT&T’s unit HBO is in the process of finding cast and director for Game of Thrones prequel, the president said in responding a question, he said hopefully the filming for prequel will begin next year.
However, HBO said in June, that it ordered a pilot and if it goes well it will proceed to the full series.
Currently, the “untitled prequel” will show the thousands of years back before the events in Game of Thrones started in actual series, British screenwriter Jane Goldman with co-author George RR Martin, has created this prequel, the original author of novel series “A Song of Ice and Fire” which is the base of Game of Thrones TV series.
It will unfold the series of events form the world’s descent from the golden Are of Heroes into its darkest hour. It will also look into the secrets of the history of the warring families in the kingdom of Westeros, HBO said.
HBO has looked into five different scripts before finalizing the approach for the prequel. “The reason we considered multiple scripts, we would be lucky to get the one we are very excited about, said Bloys. The remaining scripts would either be dead or still under work, he added.
