Kit Harington and Rose Leslie—the Game of Thrones actors tied the knot at a ceremony in Aberdeenshire.
The duo—who played on-screen lovers Jon Snow and Ygritte, met each other on the fantasy show in the year 2012.
Many guests appeared at their wedding outside the Rayne Church, close to Inverurie. Guests showered the newly wedded couple with flower petals.
The couple then got into a Land Rover which was decorated with paper hearts and tin cans and then they drove off to their reception arranged at the Wardhill Castle.
Among the guests, there were also fellow Game of Thrones actors including Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage and Sophie Turner.
Earlier the groom—Harrington dressed up in a morning suit and the bride dolled up in a flowy ivory dress and veil. They greeted dozens of fans and other well-wishers.
The reception arrangements were made in the Wardhill Castle grounds which is the property of the actress’s father—Seb Leslie.
The couple announced their engagement in the September of 2017.
Rose Leslie grew up in Aberdeenshire before she moved to London for pursuing her career.
Leslie left the famous show two years after they met while Harington continued with it and has appeared in every series of the TV drama—he is one of biggest stars of the show.
Harington while sharing his best memory of the show said that his favourite one was the time spent in Iceland while shooting the second season.
He further added that if one is attracted towards someone and then if they play one’s love interest in the show then it becomes super easy to fall in love.
