After countless efforts by the Kohat administration, fruit and vegetable prices are now under control.
Earlier today, the district administration, Kohat sent a statement saying that following the directives of DC Kohat Captain (R) Abdur Rehman, AC Kohat Talha Zubair inspected fruit and vegetable markets for fixing and bringing down rates of different fruits and vegetables.
DC Kohat sent Additional Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Ibrahim to the fruit and vegetable markets to fix prices and monitor the bidding process.
A shopkeeper selling fruits and vegetables informed that prices of vegetables were decreased to reasonable limits.
According to the report, a milk seller said that pure milk was available at the rate of PKR 100 per liter.
Although, some of the milk sellers were selling pure buffalo milk at the rate of PKR 150per liter.
As per instructions, the district administration, Kohat were regularly visiting the markets to observe and control the fruit and vegetable prices in the region. And as of today, it’s officially announced that these prices are under control.
It is to inform here that last week PM Imran Khan formulated a team and instructed them to start monitoring food prices and report him on a regular basis.
