Friends Reunion delays amid Coronavirus

The most awaited Friends Reunion has been delayed due to the global pandemic outbreak which has forced the production to shut down. Also now it will not be available at the launch of a new streaming platform HBO Max.

The news of the special reunion made all the fans of the sitcom very excited. The sitcom has been widely popular among all the viewers too young to remember the original run which ended back in 2004

Recently, the star cast of the famous sitcom; Courtney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc signed up the reunion to the comedy’s original soundstage on the Warner Bros. studio in Los Angeles.

But now the special will not be available for the HBO Max’s May launch as it was planned, told a spokesperson. He added that the reunion special will be released on the streaming platform very soon.

Although the production has not taken place yet in order to respect the precautionary measure of social distancing imposed by the government.

Each of the cast members taking part in the special reunion will be paid with $2.5 million.

The May Launch of HBO Max which costs $14.99 still will remain as per the schedule, confirmed WarnerMedia’s, Sean Kisker.

Friends will be the main selling point for the upcoming platform as it will be a competitive marketplace along with the rest of the platforms; Disney+, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+ and, Netflix.

About the reunion, Jennifer Aniston announced herself on her Instagram account.                             

The famous sitcom is the most-watched show on Netflix. The show has also won a dozen awards.
