The French investors want to invest and explore the options in the various sectors of Pakistan as informed by the French Ambassador—Marc Barety France in a meeting on Wednesday with the Acting Chairman Senate Senator—Saleem Mandviwala.
The acting chairman welcomed the remarks of the French Envoy and said that trade needs to be extended as the present volume of trade in far below the mark.
Mandviwala said that the trade provides better options to people of the two sides in order to bring them closer. He also said that the businesschambers and associations have got a great potential for boosting trade.
The Senator Saleem Mandviwala said that the business and trade chambers are the major power houses for producing business activities and strengthening the bilateral ties. He also said that Pakistan give value to itsbilateral relations with France and wants to further expand these ties viahighlighted interactions at parliamentary and other levels.
He expressed great satisfaction over the security conditions in Pakistan. He informed that the security situation of Pakistan has immenselyimproved.
The French Envoy said that he has a very positive image of Pakistan as far as the security situation is concerned.
Senator Sana Jamali—a member of the Pakistan-France friendship group also stressed upon the need for increased linkages. She suggested for increasing French Language centres in Baluchistan to make the youth of Baluchistan learn French language.
