The French experts’ team especially called to assist in the investigation of the crashed aircraft PK-8303, returned back to their homes this morning after the completion of the investigation.
Two members of the Pakistani Aircraft Accident and Investigation Board along with the French expert’s team boarded a Paris flight at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport. They also took the black box and the cockpit voice recorder of the crashed plane with them in order to decode them.
After examining the crash site, air traffic control system, runway, engine parts, and the cockpit voice recorder, the team has returned back to their homes as the inquiry has been winded up.
On Saturday, France’s Bureau of Enquiry and analysis for Civil Aviation Safety tweeted saying that the mission is about to complete.
The tweet further stated that the technical work on CVR and FDR of the unfortunate aircraft will start on 2nd June in France.
All 97 passengers and the crew members died in the plane which crashed in a residential area in Karachi. Only two of the passenger survived miraculously. Also, not a single resident lost his/her life in the incident.
