Renault is coming very soon to Pakistan and the news is confirmed. The company has penned down Memorandum of Understanding with Majid Al Futtaim the UAE’s Emirati firm to develop a factory in Pakistan and produce vehicles.
The agreement between Renault and Al Futtaim is announced officially and as per the agreement, Renault will set up a production unit in Pakistan. Renault will introduce its new recent products and innovative technology. Al Futtaim will develop the production unit, assembly plant and then distribute the cars.

As per sources, the manufacturing plant will be set up in Karachi’s industrial sector. It will be done by the first quarter of 2018. Also, car sales will begin by 2019.
Senior Vice President, Chairman of the Africa Middle-East India Region of the Groupe Renault Fabrice Cambolive said, “Groupe Renault is delighted to extend its international footprint by entering Pakistan, a fast-growing market with a 10% annual growth rate.”
President of Al Futtaim Automotive Len Hunt said that Pakistan’s middle-class sector is increasing and that market has huge potential. The middle class of Pakistan is the target market for them.
The car that the company will launch will be Duster SUV. It will surely bring more options for the people of Pakistan.
