Good news for the passengers flying from the Dubai International airport. Passengers who would be travelling from the Dubai International Airport would be served with free ice cream. This service was started from June 15.
As per Emirates, ice cream cups would be provided at the Terminal 3 departure and transit areas from the 15th of June until the 31st of August for the customers travelling from or via Dubai.
The ice cream branded as Emperor is made by the Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC), and the airline has the expectation of serving around two million cups of ice cream to its valued customers over the span of next three or so months.
Customers on their way could look out for the Emirates branded ice cream carts situated throughout the departure and the transit areas of Terminal 3 and could choose from a variety of five flavours. The offered flavours are chocolate, date and Arabic coffee, vanilla, lemon sorbet and mango sorbet.
The cool treats could be enjoyed during the peak hours on a per day basis—between 12 am until 3 am, then between 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm and the final slot is in between 6 pm until 9 pm.
This indeed is a joyous news for all the ice cream and even the non-ice cream fans owing to the hot weather. We all know this well that Dubai airport is the among the busiest airports of the world with many flights coming in and departing from it. Thousands of travellers commute their journeys via the Dubai International Airport. Serving them with cool ice creams is a good gesture by the airport authorities.
